Let's see, here's a couple:
VI. George Harrison
Probably the most talented, instrumentally, of The Beatles. I enjoy his songs and his bluesy style, he had a lot of respect for the instrument.
V. Muddy Waters
Incredibly blues musician. Incredibly influential and had a damned fine style which incorporated the pure blues style of Robert Johnson.
IV. Eric Clapton
I love Eric Clapton's style. He can play rock guitar, blues guitar, acoustic, etc. I love his work in a band, particularly Cream and on his own.
III. Richie Havens
My favorite acoustic guitar player. He has a very impressive style and brings a level of virtuosity to the folk scene that doesn't really exist beyond him (or, at least, that I've seen).
II. Jimmy Page
I've gotta mention him if not for his absolutely incredible contribution in Led Zeppelin. I love the bluesy style of the first album and the harder heavier sound of the second. He's also great acoustically on his 3rd album and beyond and he has some larger than life stuff in songs like Stairway, Kashmir, etc.
I. Jimi Hendrix
Best ever, without a doubt. I've never heard such thick, liquid blues that could sound like early blues that was heavy enough to earn the respect of people who play heavy metal. Vodoo Chile alone should demand respect and his album, Band of Gypsys (particularly Machine Gun) is out of this world.
