Take your cape off, you're not the only person who knows music theory Beethoven.

AND AGAIN.

"Usually I'd take your comment as criticism;
Then I saw your sig, lmao."

This applies to your sig aswell.

Listen, I'd appreciate real criticism; but if you're just going to flame cause you like metal or any other symphonic metal then don't bother.
IN MY OPINION; metal is bullshit, I agree the music is harder to play then pop punk.
I'm the drummer; I can play blast beats too, I'm really good at double-kick, I can do triplets and quick rolls just like many drummers.
My guitarist can play arpeggios no problem, and we used to be in a death metal band.
Our preference is to play this kind of music, cause it's more our style.
We're a pop-punk band. If you don't like pop punk don't bother.

BTW, I'm better then your screamer.

lol well put :)

to be honest. I love pop punk

the vocals on this are not stand out. as a matter of fact. YOU ARE USING AUTO TUNE. THIS DISQUALIFIES YOU
the guitar parts do not stand out. as a matter of fact. YOU ARE STRUMMING OCTAVES. THIS DISQUALIFIES YOU
nothing really stands out.

Whats the point or message or meaning in these songs? I cant find any

it would be cool if you were like 16-18 years old, but after that, i'd expect maturity

ill give it a 6/10

lots of room for improvement, could be worse. but seriously, the intro, lame as fuck. i cringed and felt embarassed
second, NO MORE AUTO TUNE

dude i could go on. many varieties, many different styles and decades of pop punk

in the 70's, group like the buzzcocks and the scientists
80s.... HMMM
90s, blink, NFG, yellowcard etc etc
now, i jam four year strong, asteria, etc etc naming bands is trivial at this point..
you couldnt name a good band that i dont like. I APPRECIATE and RESPECT good music.

breakdowns are OVERPLAYED AS FUCK especially with lame pull off riffs over them.
. same with strummed octaves over power chords

You know that ALL those bands, excluding the 70s use auto-tune right?
If you don't think Blink, newfound and yellow card use auto-tune then you're oblivious.
How about FYS's breakdowns? Asteria = Lot's of Melodine, Lot's of auto-tune.
Oh ya, Asteria uses octave chords over power chords too
So i guess this disqualifies them aswell?

I appreciate the critique, but please people.
Know your music before you try to sound smart.
I understand you don't like it, but don't try to compare us to other bands that use the exact same methods that we do.
ALL bands and I mean ALL bands (except the the one exception I can think of, "Silverchair") use Auto-tune.

BTW, we started this album when we were 18.

That statement is false, unless you mean in the pop-punk genre.

I do.

they dont use auto tune like guitarists use distortion
your singer uses auto tune like guitarists use distortion, because he cant sing.

also, they KNOW how to use octaves, to SUPPLEMENT the song, NOT base the song around octaves. and you use powerchords and octaves all the time. That is called OVERKILL

and you still have the gall to say i dont know anything about music

you just got slammed child

and I didnt say any of the bands i named didnt suck. I just find their music much more pleasing than your highschool sounding bullshit
GTFO
