not that this really matters since you already purchased an amp, but for a low priced suprisingly good sounding amp is the Vox valvetronix series. I am a tube amp kind of person honestly I have a sovtek mig 50 high gain head, and have owned others (jcm 800, 900, fender deville etc) but I also own a Vox 100 watt valvetronix head, and I am being honest is that it is a really good sounding amp and the best for the money, if you dont care about it being a hybrid than its great for a lot of genres, and the effecst are top notch in my opinion, I have a PRS Custom Semi-hollowbody I play out of it and that might help, but its still good

i have a 15 watt valvetronix for practicing and it certainly trumps the spyders. i use a spyder to jam with my one buddy as my main amp woulc completely overpower his drums, but i hate the spyder. i don't think the 15 watts is loud enough to retain tone when pushed, but for practicing it's really great. even like a fender blues jr. would be a really good practice amp and you can find them real cheap. i wish i had gotten one when i had a real good deal on one, but its all good.

blues juniors are nice if you have the right pedal. I use to have one and im looking to get another one for my practice amp.

id say yes to a line 6 i got mine 5 years ago and had it ever sence its Great quality sound if u have the right plugs and guitar / strings

i'd say either get a nice hybrid combo, or even a little tube amp like a blackheart or something. good quality sounds and pretty cheap too, you can't go wrong. the blues junior is a real good amp, i wish i had one

Get a Roland Cube 60. It was my first amp and it is the shit. I moved onto bigger better things but it was a sick amp for the time.
