Sooo.. did peace settle in again lol :rolleyes: im not going to comment much on that, althought i did make this an opinion orientated thread, and everyone has one... I do love to hear mellow acoustic breaks in heavy oriented music :)

You dont see too many jazz acoustic guitar players out there.. this one has to be the best i've seen.

Im taking the dust off this thread by mentioning a great guitar player who hasnt been mentionned yet, his style is more on the intellectual side, with dissonant passages while keeping a melodic flow. His style might not be for everyone but he's very talented to my eyes and ears. Here's Pino Forastiere.

very talented indeed, I just don't like his transitions from one riff to another -- they're purposefully off pitch but imo it sounds stupid, that breaks the melodic flow for me at least.

Well.. i knew he wouldnt appeal to everyone, his music can be hard to grasp. Some of his other work is more conventionnal and easier to listen to.But i have to say this is my favorite piece from him, due to its originality. Thanks for posting your opinion.
