3. I wouldn't say I have no opinion on music. blink-182 is my favorite band, has been since I was little. Why the fuck should't I like them? Their musical style appeals to me, their songs, lyrics, everything about it. That's my fucking opinion, not yours. I couldn't give a damn what you think, especially after you post something like this making you sound like a 12 year old Gargos spawn.

A band doesn't need to rip through a 5/4 sig playin eighth notes at 300 bpm to be considered good. Nor do they need to have an insane amount of technical skills. As long as the listener is enjoying it, they'll be successful as a band. All these "shitty" bands you posted have all been successful in the market they are in, which OBVIOUSLY makes them not shitty (blinks been around for what.. 10 years now?).

As far as TALENT goes, no - these guys arent the most talented TECHNICALLY. But as songwriters I'd say they're pretty damn talented, to be able to crank out 3+ chart toppers is a pretty damn good accomplishment.

And as for the "good" music your trying to find - you didn't say which genre, so it's kind of hard to pull shit outta the dark.
