jackson v was not in good shape. I also made a sheet metal pickguard and pickup rings. A little work left.
This I put together from parts. I custom cut the pickguard and headstock. 60's mustang pickup in neck position, 60's jaguar pickup in bridge. Custom wired 5 way switch. Sounded great until I took it apart to refinish the body. Sanded it down and now it's sitting in pieces until I have the time to finish it.
My other project is my first bass a peavy, gutted the electronics and took out the frets. Going to fill the neck and go fretless. Haven't decided on pickup replacement yet.
The rest of my gear consists of:
90's purple strat with holy grail pickups custom wired 5 way. mex tele. early 70's kay hollowbody. fender jazz bass. Ibanez performance acoustic, ibanez acoustic electric, 70's Alvarez acoustic, johnson acoustic with random humbucker added, and a ukulele. I on my strat and tele I play d'addario flat wound 13-56, the kay flat wound 12-52. I'd go bigger in the fenders but hard to find anything bigger in flatwound.
