tryed swirling, close but didnt turn out so it got painted orange with vines around the body. got wreck by mist paint the back. so turned it into multi colour strip crackle, gf failed that 1 painting back with a brush lol. o well so it finaly landed on puzzle peices idea. headstock is still orange from vine idea but it looks sick with the purple. got to cold out to paint so its done for now. probley will repaint it agian in the summer with airbrush and do crazyier ideas

scalloped all 24 frets and removed 12-1 frets. moved vol behind bridge so it not bumped while sweeping. extended access cut out for better reach. lx-500 bill lawrence and dimarzio chopper. 1M pot. new shred machine finaly assembled, scalloped necks owns ass!. like playing on air and so much more control and ease doing any bends or pre bends. def req ppl trying 1 out.

got a crate half stack now last week, got a neck comin off *** fully scalloped for my strat knock off. i need to buy some malm dims or seymores, ill post pics of strats painting turn out, still got a week or 2 to think of idea for it

the color is sort of a sea blue... the original color was hunter green, which i didn't sand/strip completely off. there is just a hint of it left behind. i did a really light royal blue on top of it. it's gorgeous. i did the blue with a dye, then i put tru oil on top of it (an oil for guns). it looks, feels, and sounds much better than lacquer, polly or nitro. i'm surprised more people don't use it.

took a few pics. this is the setup i'm using at the moment for recording. i got an audio technica atm25 for my bass, so i'm usin my akg d112 on my floor tom now. also dug up 15" and 17" a custom crashes to use, and an extra 57 for the tom. the blanket is part of a tunnel. i have a bare maple bass shell under it with a modded mxl v67g condenser at the end to give the bass a little extra punch. ah, and yet another 57 set up on the hats... i ran outta mic stands, and ended up havin to use one of my far too many cymbal stands to ghetto rig a makeshift mic stand for the hats

that ain't filth on the cymbals... it's tone
