God damn, I'm jelly as fuck. Have ever owned one electric kit - a TD-4KX - thought it was gonna be awesome but I couldn't deal with the small unrealistic pads/cymbals. These newer higher end Roland models look like such a better build, and much more comfortable to play on.

Although I have to ask, do you also have an acoustic kit set up? If I had a studio in my house I would most certainly chose an acoustic kit over electric, you just can't duplicate the feel of real drums/cymbals.

OpO has a pretty awesome studio setup with electronic kit

If I could play my acoustic if i could, but I rent a small flat. Electric wins for teaching students though so thats a big plus. On an acoustic kit you have to wait for them to finish playing before you can say anything!

Not the typical post but im midway through making a Big Muff Pi pedal

Need to get a few more components and then an enclosure for it. Hopefully it works well, next will be a booster pedal and then a compressor pedal.

Cool man - I still have not addressed my pedal situation. I got a metalcore pedal, wah, overdrive and chorus - yet i've never had them all connected together. Lazy I guess

Nice! I want a vox one day, but I honestly have absolutely no need for an amp outside of a head for my cab - my MG series isn't cutting it lol.
