My argument has consistently been the same. Good musicians can get a song perfect in a single take. It won't happen all the time, and definitely not on every song.
Your argument changes every time I out-argue you (:

I respectfully disagree.

sounds like a heavier plain white t's and gym class heroes

i quite like it :D

what kit you play?

also to people saying it sounds generic

does it matter? if thats the music they like playing then whats the problem??

p.s. id make your bass drum a bit less heavy if i were you^

I think you should keep the bass drum sound :D But it depends on what you like.... HOw did you get it to sound like that? Havent heard mine on recording yet, had to use the studios' set lol.
I have a 22" EMAD2 Bass drum head with a blanket shoved in there, its like a punchy deep sound.....I think its like this one :D
Not my kinda music really, but its really good

Yeah no. Not even MIKE PORTNOY or DREAM THEATER or NEIL PEART gets it in the first take....
so.. >:P
Def disagree with the first take thing. No way in hell are you considered "a good musician" for getting it right the first take. Depends on the difficulty and tech of what you're playing. Thats why it can take bands YEARS to record a full album... Besides remastering n all the other goodies.

I use a G2 skin. Tune it how I like it.
It's mainly the drum, all maple shell, and it has focus rings.
Makes it sound great :D

Learn how recorded music works.

stop arguing stuff based off of assumption.

LoL. This coming from a guy who doesn't even know what TONE is? My argument's are based off of factual evidence, you're argument consists of "you have no idea what you're talking about so I'm not arguing".
Funny, if you think you know better than someone, that's fine. But maybe you should back up your ego with evidence. Not false information. (:

omg...have you ever been in a studio???!?

I have. And saying "have you ever been in a studio?" is not a valid argument.

Yes they most certainly can. Neil Peart especially.

your statements hold no truth to them what so ever.

ive watched behind the scenes videos, there is no such thing as 1 take recordings...EVER even if its perfect.

i think you need admit that you are wrong, or find proof.
