i got an old 1989 ibanez rd707 (was #423 off fujigen japan factory floor) i picked up from a pawn shop for $200 bit beat up. but im very happy with my purchase. and i love 80s metal and rock/pop. and it does just that and was developed during the time period. im looking for a rd727 though for the active electronics. and start me an ibanez collection.

thanks. this was my first bass. im still pretty new. im having a hard time finding sheet music and tabs for my favorite genre. i only have found ultimate-guitar and songsterr. bass music is so hard to find sometimes

Well, the real nice thing about Ultimate Guitar is that it has a huge forum with user-submitted tabs, and if there isn't the bass tab available, you can always look at the guitar tab and see if you can work out the bass notes from what the Low E string is doing.
