i'm wearing off the finish from playing on it too much. any suggestions ? i'll take some news pictures if that helps to give you an idea of what i'm talking about.

you can kinda see the wear mark from that picture. its right above and in between the 2 pickups.

my bassist did the same thing and he eventually grew to like the wear because it would rest his thumb perfectly haha. I'm not sure how to fix em :/

i'm proud but i feel like i took bad care of it because i've only had it for a few years lol. i think you are supposed to wax it with warwick wax or something so it reduces the wear.

Nice collection dude. Guitar Polish - the way to go is guitar polish.

I use the Gibson stuff, but yeah this will help. I don't know how bad the discolouration is but this might help keep whats left :D

If it's true wear and not just built up dirt I agree.

Oh man thats a bitch. I was in a band when I was 18 or so, fuckers said to me "drummer doesn't wanna drum anymore, so he's playing guitar so now you are rhythm only while the other 2 fuck about" fine. Then a week later "we don't need 3 guitarists, and now that the bassist is the drummer, can you learn bass for us please?" Fuck off was the reply

:D Damn... that sucks.

Actually I'm loving the situation and I'm glad that we have a bass player. Allows me to fully concentrate on singing :)

Is an interesting idea - I have done professional singing from 9-18, and i know I can still sing, but I can't sing and play at the same time which annoys me because i'd love to do them both at the same time (front man material w00t) I don't wanna put down the guitar to sing - i wanna be able to sing and show off my skillz lol
