Maybe someone can appreciate vintage guitars around here. Its from somewhere 70's(afaik).







And yes its damn good guitar. Really deep and soulfull sound, not the crispiest highs, but thats most likely because it has original strings, but the strings have so sweet and unique sound that im not going to replace them(not to mention that they are silky smooth to play), you can hear the age from the strings and definitely doesent sound bad. And the neck is just the perfect shape.

That's pretty sexy...how did you acquire it?

My mom bought it from her friend when i was a kid and i took it home from her place some time ago, because its been unused like the past 15 years.

Actually thinking of buying electric guitar aswell, but not sure if i can keep my intrest with it long enough this time..

New toy on the left. Far outdoes the rest of my gear and my skill level but at least I can play along with a drummer now if i have the urge.

Love the acoustic - but dude, wtf - change the damn strings lol. Strings do not define the guitar sound, the guitar does! No use in playing something that will tear your fingers to shreds

Strings do have effect on the sound. New high strings would give much crispier sound, but lose that unique sound of theirs. They are tearing my fingers much less than any other metallic acoustic strings i have tried, i havent tried any coated extra low gauge strings or flat wounds tho, but those strings that im using are definitely easy for fingers.

Tis weird - but Telecaster has "old" strings on it, and it physically hurts to play. Perhaps it's down to playing my nicely restrung gibson or mustang, but the other strings are rusty lol - hurts to play!
