show it as soon as possible! wanna see it !
As soon as i get it done. I'm considering to swirl-paint a stratocaster first, just for practise. I dont want to mess up the 8-string right away
Lots of work to clean it back to natural.
I ordered a strato-body couple of weeks ago. It should be @ my home in january among all the other seven guitars i ordered

Rupsu, you getting into Guitar Luthier work then?
Thats so awesome if so
Lemme know how I can do it lol
No no no, i study youth-work @ university. I just pimp guitars at my free time.
Just recently discovered the whole enamel-painting thing.
If you mean the "how i can do it" as in "how to swirl-paint", its rather simple idea:
A huge bucket of water is saturated with this stuff called Borax. It lowers the tension of the water surface.
Then you add enamel paints (folks say that Humbrol's paints are best) including all the colors you want to include to the swirlpattern.
After adding paints you need to mix them with a stick. This is where you actually create the pattern which will be on the guitar.
I think "creating" the pattern is the hardest part, beacause you can easily mess everything up.
After all that is done, you just dip the guitar into bucket, remove excess paint from the water surface, and remove guitar from bucked.
But there is a shitload of noob mistakes that need to be avoided in order to get a decent result. So needs moar practise.
Also, here is a video. He makes it look so easy
