I took a look at the Breedloves. And they seem like a company that makes really good $500-$900 guitars.
All their guitars above $1000 didn't get good reviews.

I'm looking something a bit more though. Right now, im just sick of messing around with sub$1000 guitars.

I've grown into the mindset that if i'm going to buy something, i better buy something that will last me 10+ years instead of a cheaper one that will just make me want a nicer one later down the road.

I just want a guitar that won't keep me wanting. Of course my pleasure for investing in a nice guitar will never end, but I perfer a very very nice one rather than a nice one.

Take a look at Alvarez guitars.

Also, I agree with previous poster that Taylor's are great guitars. Personally I would avoid Gibson as a lot of what you are paying is simply for the brand name. You can get a guitar that is EXACTLY as good (or better) than a Gibson for less. Another company to look at is Seagull.

I actually own an Alvarez right now. It's a very nice guitar for the price. ($200)

I've heard good things about Taylor. I really gotta make a day out of playing everything..

Taylors and martins are really really hit or miss honestly. Some are great, some suck. Seems ridiculous to me, especially given the price of some of them. Price =/= quality either.

Go try out some breedloves for yourself. :)

REALLY REALLY look at any Taylor 210 and above man. I have a 110 and it is AWESOME, it beat out every acoustic I played under 1,000 when I was looking for an acoustic I also played the 210 and pretty much every taylor above that, and about 15 martins (which underwhelmed me, since they are bit duller sounding), and all of them just sounded incredible man. Great mid range, great bass, great treble, taylor is just IT for me for acoustics, and I have been playing for 16 years man. Although I do own an Alvarez AJ417 acoustic electric that is pretty decent as well, but no where near the Taylor and they are in the same price range
