I like any kind of music that has a melody or rhythm i can enjoy...I'm not a fan of blast beats or just chugging on guitar. However I think a breakdown can be a nice addition to a song if it fits well.

I don't see any reason to credit or discredit music based on the technical level of skill that goes into creating it. If you enjoy some type of music you enjoy it. But obviously the harder something is to play the more respect I give towards playing abilities.

Bob derka and darkshade cleared this up pretty well I think. If you want to talk about your bland-ass sub-genre of music, take it to the right forum. You might get a positive response. If you came in here and said something like:

"I'd like to discuss the modes of such and such riff by said band.",

instead of this:



then maybe you'd be held a little higher on the totem poll of douchedom.
