lol wrong, opeth's bass is mediocre at best, as well as their guitar playing; their drums are pretty good i'll admit. Opeth gets plenty of recognition, but only by their fans who refuse to admit there is absolutely anything wrong with opeth.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of Opeth, but I do enjoy listening to their beastly music. They aren't perfect in any way for sure, but they are still superior to BTBAM.

I honestly have never heard of BTBAM and I hear A LOT more about Opeth. But I most likely wouldn't like either of them. I've listened to Opeth and hated it. But I'm more of an old school metal type guy, like nevermore ya know? I listen to Nevermore and then OOOOOLLLDDD rock, like: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink floyd, Led zeppelin etc. I listen to some new bands like killswitch, I use to listen to SOAD, Disturbed etc. Sanctuary <3. Sorry for the random interference lol, arguing can start up again :P.
