In case you're not musically illiterate, since many of my students are in high school, 100% of my students have received "1s" in regional competition for solo & ensemble, i've gotten all "1s" except two people who got "2s" in state competition for solo & ensemble, and I've had three people go to nationals. O wait, you ARE musically illiterate. Stfu scrub get good and learn something other than greenday then post here k?
Jeebus Brist! For a musically active person you have one mean attitude. Chill out already. Music shouldn't be about being '1' in some silly competition, it's about doing what you love. As for teaching, I'm happy you're a teacher and your students got that far. Sincerely, congratulations dude.
You know, if someone likes Greenday, then let him smolder in his own fire pit, you don't have to get all offensive and smash to pieces what 'someone' might call a start. For frigs sakes, I started with crap too... then I slowly discovered new stuff and new music/styles/etc.
Anyways man, hope you'll have many more good students.
Good luck with that. I wish you the best.
