It almost sounds like it's a double-stop with a muted string in between. Try (from high e down, reading left to right) 12-x-12 11-x-11 etc. Same note as before, a little punchier since it's a higher string, it'll ring out a little more. Also would avoid the stretch if you're not used to them (though that would be good practice, in that case).
