yep I had a post about it awhile ago (got a name change) I am actually selling the hamer this weekend, and buying an ESP LTD Viper 400 w/ a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and 59' in the neck, will post pics.

the Fender thinline tele sounds AMAZING, way better than even my old gibson studio sounded, it is easly one of my favorite guitars, the ESP sounds great, but is kind of top heavy, thinking of selling the viper to help pay for 2x Gibson dirty fingers to put in the tele lol

Doesnt it sound good with the jb/59 though?

oh it sounds great, but the resonance you get from the semi hollow body of the thinline telecaster goes a long away in aiding the tone, plus its a dream to play, best $800 purchase I have ever made, one of the few fenders where the price isn't inflated lol. What I meant by top heavy with the ESP is that when you stand up and play the neck wants to drop straight down, which is part the strap button placement and part the lightweight body with a heavier neck, sounds great with the pickup set, but I like the overall tone of the Fender better. but also the ESP is a 600 dollar guitar and the fender is an 800 dollar guitar, so it is not all that suprising the tele sounds better

Well those vipers don't come with that nice of pickups, those are aftermarket, right?
