I have a custom gibson sg with moon crescent inlays on the neck, and a dark wood body with black pick guard.

i also have a 1975 American made fender stratocaster.

I also have a mexican made fender stratocaster, black with white pickguard. (was my first guitar)

Sorry about the shitty picture, i don't have a camera besides my laptops webcam.

lmk your guys feedback!

it's like a 7string, but with another string that is a pitch lower, so basically you can play more metal/bassy riffs

our sg's look similar!

I've never really successfully played a 7 strong either. It's a low B right?

Its actually a Gibson SG Faded, they used to make the faded models with crescent inlays, they released them with humbuckers and p90's. Not bad guitars at all.

Beautiful Gibson collection in this thread! In particular, props to Emergency for all 4 of his guitars being worthy of praise :D

not too sure on specifics but a buddy of mine had a 7 string and he said it just had 1 extra low string above the low E. So i made the assumption an 8 string takes it to the next level.

In standard tuning, the 7th string is low-B. That is correct.
I play in drop A myself, meaning standard tuning with 7th string dropped 1 whole step down.
