its all about preferences, and i have some good experience with emgs.
and plus my amp makes any guitar sound good lol

but yeah i love my setup the way it is... although ima be gettin a wireless system down the road cuz im sick of tripping on my cord and yankin it from my axe

I actually just sold my wireless system because I was sick of the batteries lol

lol but it comes in handy when you pace alot haha... i can never get my cord to sit unless i have it go in front of me and then around something then back behind me to the amp

Imo, never use EMG's on high-end guitars, they completely sterilize your sound and you lose the guitar's tonal characeteristics.
