Went today to go pick up a combo amp because I was tired of lugging my stack everywhere (plus got another part of my bonus ) ended up getting a fender deluxe, although as soon as I got home I put a celestion vintage 30 in it of course..... I was trying it out with one of those gibson les paul mahogonys, and liked the guitar so much I bought it as well lol

good choice on amp, i played one of those for over a year. It had a jensen in it tho....was a limited edition one with brown bolex and a wheat grille :D. I have a les paul stuido myself and there great, But mines in fireburst

I was really close to getting the deville 4x10, but I was happier with the deluxe in the end... the guy was suprised when I just bought the guitar as well lol

Lol...you probably made his week. I had a deville 2x12 and a hot rod deluxe. I liked the deluxe clean better, and i ran pedals for dist anyway

I know man they are my freaking favorite, it totally sounds better than the 500t that was in there, while I prefer the feel of my les paul, the sg is an awesome players guitar, plus the vibrato on there is pretty wicked I think

This whole thread makes me SUPER jealous. that is all I can say :\

I don't like the Invaders for the fact that my action is so high near the high frets. Do you know if the same would happen with Blackouts?
