ya its a squire but not even, everything on the bass is completely different except of the body, tuning pegs and knobs,

i changed the neck, changed the pickups, changed the pickguard, changed the bridge, a threw in a tone styler, even the plate that u have to screw off in the back too take off the neck that used to say "squire" is different too.

so its not really a squire anymore its a totally different bass, plays and sounds awesome now.

a while before i bought a new neck, i defreted the old neck and turned it into a fretless. i wasn't too happy with how it came out so i decided to invest in a new neck.

the neck that i have on there is a Jazz bass neck so its a little smaller, and its a ebony fretboard with a figured maple neck.

i'm really happy with the way how it looks/plays now and its all black and blue and chrome, u guys have any suggestions what do u think?

You probably would have spent a lot less and had a better quality neck and body if you would have just bought a MIM Fender P Bass or Jazz bass IMO, I used to strictly play bass and I tried the same exact thing with a squier, and regardless they never turn out as well as if you were to have upgraded a standard Fender instead....

this one plays really well now that i changed the bridge, and if i want too i can always buy a new body and reuse the parts i bought.

i'm pretty happy with the way this came out tbh, its very unique dosen't even feel like i'm playing on a fender really. this was the first bass guitar i ever bought and have experimented with and it kinda has sentimental value.

also am not a big fender fan and i never really plan on buying a fender ever (unless i'm rich and got money to spend one day on one), i'm more of a spector/warwick kinda guy. this was just something i wanted to do for the hell of it and i'm glad i did it cause i'm really happy with how it turned out and i don't regret spending the money i did.
