My band has done comfortably numb several times, for that solo I boost with my DSL-100 solo channel, boss sd-1, and boost the mids with a 10-band eq... sounds pretty good. Here is an example of that solo tone from a show I did 2 weeks ago (I'm on the right)

Edit: skip to 3:10 for my solo
Edit2: also used a slash crybaby over it

That's a really small pedalboard, but I guess it's all you really need. I have like 10 pedals on mine lol

GAS victim here

my board:

subdecay blackstar
leviathan fuzz
way huge fat sandwich
strymon bluesky
whetstone analog phaser
strymon timeline
tc electronics tuner

and sometimes an akai E2 at home for looping shit.

real happy atm, wouldn't want to add anything except for some crazy tremolo
band: soundcloud.com/comelywench

with the band i rarely use pedals. mostly in between songs or for an intro/outro

i used to know all pedals... but really all you'll really need is a good delay pedal. I like malekko's shit. Your amp should handle overdrive... and other modulation is unnecessary... A good univibe is always sweet.

If you're looking for a good all-around pedal that can even do amp simulations and work as a great piece of practice equipment for those times you can't use an amp, I'd highly recommend the ZOOM G9.2tt. On top of amp simulations, you get many different types of wah, modulation, delay, reverb, cabinet simulators, and you can even program in some mathematical functions to work together with some of the effects. As a warning though, it's very difficult to get a sound as clear and crisp as one you would get from using an amp + high quality mic. Here's the best I've managed to achieve so far: http://picosong.com/RAUd

As far as my ideal setup, I'd use:

Gibson Les Paul
Marshal AVT or JCM amp
BabyCry + Delay pedals
Some kind of modulation pedal

What do you guys recommend as the best LOOP pedal? I ask because i'd love to start writing some riffs but I lack any recording EQ at all - so if a looper can take an SD card, then i can record on there and transfer.

I'm looking into buying an RC-2 because the other ones are just too much... I just want a simple loop station. Anyone know RC-2 vs RC-3?

I'd say the RC-2 is the best choice if you want a looper which isn't too expensive but still has some features.

And I think RC-3 has a usb but the RC-2 doesn't?

Edit: Okay, I didn't look into it at all and just said bullshit. The RC-3 is an improved version of the RC-2, longer recording time, more storage etc. And the RC-3 isn't too expensive either.

Idk if any of those has room for a SD-card, but RC-3 has usb. I do know that the Digitech JamMan has room for a SD-card though.
