but what he did with his time is amazing, With out hendrix people would not have pushed them selves to play better! Like along side most of the older generation of musicians.
To say someone is over rated is the most small minded thing you could ever say!

I only like a few tracks of hendrix myself but dam he did so much xD and tbh music has been pushed so much further now,
so no wonders u might think he is over rated.
Could even say Metallica is over rated, And how Avenged seven fold "nightmares" sounds identical to James Hetfeilds vocal tone
because Metallica is that popular And also how Trivium did a Metallica stage as well (they have now gone degent and i like them again xD)

But at the end of the day you should atleast apreciate what he has done! And what he stood for, Having fun playing real music!
even tho his shows did go a bit far in some of the recordings i've hurd but he made it somewhere!
The man had fun! And stood for playing music from the soul! even if it is too much for some.

I fucking agree with you dude! HENDRIX INVENTED EXPRESSION THROUGH GUITAR LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! He was first. The guy that started it all. Clearly the sublte perfections of Hendrix work is above some of the heads in here Tis a shame.

Don't want to start an argument about rap vs other style of music , I can listen to almost any style of music ( except screaming )
