Jaguar is awesome.

Yeah, get yourself a Vox AC30/15 Amp (best would be the one with the blue alcino speakers CCx2) or just a fender twin reverb.

Effect Pedals: Any Kind of overdrive, a fuzz and a spring reverb

sounds great :D

is the memoryboy a good alternative to a reverb?
or should i prefer buying a pedal like the holy grail ?
(havnt tryed out alot with reverb)

Honestly, This may sound a bit, "Metal-y," but I have gotten every sound possible out of this combo. Line 6 Spider 3 Head - Peavey 5150 Cab. You can get so many tones out of it it is absurd.

If I were looking for that kind of sound, I'd either get myself a Fender tube combo of some sort with a bunch of OD/Fuzz pedals, or possibly one of the new Marshall Class 5 combos would do the trick as well.

the issue is that i already own a fender super champ and it sucks...
thats why i thought going with a vox is the better goal

a old man living into my village just told me he has a old keyboard 100w laney/envy amp im going to try that one out today
it has 4 inputs with a clean channel and a "effects"-channel with each of those with a eq...

A delay, in my opinion, sounds completely different to a pure reverb pedal. depends if you want a more radiohead-esque sound, or something more surfy-shoegazey like the fellas in the past used (especially the spring reverb the holy grail has).
Best would be to try them out in a local guitar shop and buy them online lol.
check out proguitarshop.com for interesting sound clips of all kinds of pedals. but beware, you may get the GAS (gear aqcuireing syndrom)!!1

ive been to a musicstore, with a old classic-rock-dude-sailor
he just offered me to deliver all i could need (pedals) and my vox ac 15 cc1
(take what sounds good and send back the bad pedals)
and he try's to get a russian bigmuff

but i think i prefer the shoegazy sound
anyway i think ill go with delaypedal and a reverbpedal :D

delay pedal is definitely a must imo. never tried reverb pedals myself, i always used the reverb on my amp til i removed it

IMO - the best guitar for your style is probably the Fender Telecaster. You can get a mexican one, or even a nice Korean one for under $400/£350 and i'd recommend those. Can get very thin necks which makes for speedy chords!

i have a telecaster and i love it. i would love to get a left handed fender jaguar or jagstang, hard to find tho.
