Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name. Please search for Percussionnotation in Wikipedia to check for alternative titles or spellings.
Search for "Percussionnotation" in existing articles.
Look for pages within Wikipedia that link to this title.

im not arguing that drums don't have notes. i knwo they have notes... but what i was referring to was like c d e f g a b c etc etc.
ive never seen a drum set play a scale.

yeah they have notes like q, z, and p

they obviously aren't as versatile as something like a guitar, but they draw from the same set of notes. you've never heard of someone tuning their kit? I read once that in Time's (Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon) intro, they used one drum, hit it, recorded it, tuned it, rinse repeat. Go listen to that song if you want to hear drum melodies.
