I've heard adverse reports about their live sound. Chances are it was just the venue they played. Not all buildings can properly project the Bodom sound.

As for the last show I've been to it's been a loooong time.... It was good though. Consisted of Morbid Angel, Superjoint Ritual and Devil Driver.

oooooooooooooooooooooooo Scar Symmetry!! badass - I desperately wanna see them but they just don't come to the UK.

Last metal show I was at was Godsized supporting Black Label Society - was fecking sweeeeet.

Trying to get to Ill Nino and Breed 77 next week - it was awesome 2 years ago and I expect it will be even better this time around with both bands having more material

Bodom will be an awesome gig - they are playing with Amon Amarth in April, gonna try get tixkets for that one but i think they are sold out already

Some people say that bodom sucks live.. On the other hand some people say that its fucking awesome. Guess it depends on the person and on the place and how well they are

iron maiden, rob halford and queensryche. iron maiden fucking rocked, QR and rob halford were alright. that was at sandstone (now called verizon wireless center) in 2001 or 2002.

ofc ive seen hundreds of metal/punk bands youve never heard of and i dont remember their names. the replay lounge, lawrence kansas is a legendary stopping point for bands on tour through the midwest. this is mainly due to the closing of the outhouse in 1993, an even more so legendary venue located in a cornfield out in the country. here's the wiki, look at all of the bands that have played there:

Yeah SS was fucking sick. I just wished people knew them more :S Since it was really an Epica show, people were less "in" the show when SS took the stage.

The only flaw is that the new singers are bad. I wish I could've seen them with Christian.

New album didn't do as much for me as Pitch Black Progress or the other one.

But my fucking god - the first time I sat down and listened to both albums, i was hard instantly and needed tissues with haste. Everything is incredible about them. They have got fucking metal down to a T - and have the techincal prowess to back it up.
