Then you'll learn that some people like some sounds, and other people may like other sounds

and then you'll realize that the electric guitar doesn't sound at all like the acoustic guitar.

I'm an acoustic guy myself but the electric guitar is soooo much better for so many other things. Still, 12 string acoustics in open tunings.......you'll never get anywhere fucking near that sound with an electric. Depends on your personal preference really. It's all a matter of opinion
