I know, I was actually just messin around. Most people don't think "intelligent" when they think of drummers..
But really there is no correlation between intelligence and what instrument you play.
And I would say that those who can play instruments are typically more intelligent than the average person.

Wrong. Bonham is not over rated. Dave Weckl sites John Bonham in his list of first three drummers to go listen to. Considering the size of Weckls ego and impact on the drum set as an instrument, that says everything!

overrated just means a bunch of people like them, no? i don't see how else you could measure accomplishment

Well, the smartest instrument would definately be the instrument with the most possibilities for the most creative person.

Get it, eh? I don't. But I hope you know what I mean, that's why I would pick a 12-strings guitar or a similiar instrument.

I would think cello.
I don't know anyone who plays cello that aren't a bit... nerdy.
