was playing my guitar and the screw ripped out of the arm, strap flew off- making me drop the guitar and left a giant hole. needless to say i was mad.

Just another battle scar...and you could always make up a cool story about how it happened...

Those who have already posted about it giving the guitar character are right. In fact, denting it up is encouraged sooner rather than later; why should you be scared about denting your guitar for the first two years you own it? It's going to happen anyways so there's no point in that! d: Hell the guitars not there to stare at, it's for playing (: Anyways I've always been mad at shitty ass cheap companies that make POS straps that can't even hold a f*cking guitar. I'm not so concerned about various bumps/scratches as I am catastrophic falls. Might want to go out and get a new strap though.. try them out to find one that won't drop your guitar under any circumstances. Might cost a little more, but I wouldn't trust my guitar in the hands of a $2 strap anyways.



Yeah! Can't a guy take a piss with his guitar around his neck without getting shit about it? Jeez..

It's one of those very unfortunate things when your holding the guitar by the strap and it just comes off.

It falls under the category shit happens, same with accidental dents. I also agree with PSPZ with regards to denting = character, and there's no problem with that.

I'm just pissed that my dent is so hidious it makes children cry
