Why do you want her to turn on u ? lol jk

Ok so yeah, just use this progression:
Em D C B7
And play it really fast
There's no way you can turn that progression into a sad song.

i just tried that and i must not be playing it right. i dont like the sound

but i do love that B7 chord i just looked it up and i love it

Or else use G C D C. Pretty much the most common basic major chord progression

I'm making some more complicated things.
With arpeggios and so on (:

And G C D C will not work, cuz I suck to write lyrics :O

I just tried that progression and I really don't like it one bit o.O
Generally speaking, I would never use a purely major chord progression. It just doesn't fit my style.
I mostly write sad type of songs (it is naturally easier for me to write these types of songs),
but even when I'm making a happy song, I usually start with an upbeat chord prog that starts with a minor chord and goes to a major chord.
If you start with a major chord and go to a minor chord it immediately goes into a sad sound (=
If you start in a minor chord and go to a major it is uplifting, imo.
Usually don't have more than two minor chords in the prog though, if it is a happy song.
1-2 minor chords max (assuming it is a progression made of four chords)
