its a pack... i really dont know what im doing and id rather just know im getting a good starter bass. once i get better and know what im really looking for ill upgrade :p

just make sure you actually learn some theory and don't turn into one of those people who can only play intros/memorable sections of songs via tablature :p

future band mates will appreciate it

Bought a Dean Edge 09' and a Acoustic B20 Bass amp today. Gunna start lessons soon! cant wait!!!



The picture makes the amp look really small, but its actually pretty big lol...

By the way, you can take lessons if you want, but I found a much easier way to pick bass was just going online and finding the tabs that use fret numbers and learning to play them. Gradually you get more used to it and you can do more complex songs, but it's more of a practice thing than theory. Since you don't need to learn cords and such, it's rather easy to just pick up songs by looking at a tab and getting the right rhythm.

Youtube also has a lot of bass covers, so if you're trying to get a particular song down try finding it there.

I'd suggest to take lessons actually. It will give you a good theoric base. Once you get that, just go and learn everything by yourself, it's the best way to create your own sound.
