bob dylan for the folk

Good choice. Check out Robert Johnson for Blues. Led Zeppelin for Blues-Rock. They're the first band to fuse those two genres.

I tried out Joe Bonamassa, and in honesty I was quite impressed. Alot of the songs on his Black Rock album are crap, but there's a couple of real good ones

If you want to hear some really good blues, check out Joe Bonamassa - http://bit.ly/bpwXyM

Someone has also suggested some Philip Sayce but I am not convinced... Just my opinion...

Bob(cs2) is right about the fact that not all tracks sell. One of my favorites is "Stop" and he also does "Sloe Gin" in which he is able to show off a bit.

Mel Brown. He's the old Black Guitar player.

Jonny Lang, Leo Kottke, Robben Ford if you want to hear something a little more toward jazz territory.
