blue vodoo is just a generic kind of shitty sounding tube amp honestly, I have played them at a lot of different occassions, had a lot of friends buy them........for the same price range you can get a multitude of different amps that all outshine it in every way

Guitarist I play with in a Melodic Hardcore/skatepunk band uses a single rectifier on a 4x10 mesa cab and it sounds amazing

Agreed...Crate sucks. I've played/owned a few of their amps. Never again. So generic and bland sounding.

Peavey 5150/6350 are awesome amps, and fairly easy to find used at a reasonable price. Mesa multi-rects tend to be more expensive, but they are also good amps.

i used peavey tripple x on this recording, another amazing amp, its my friends. usually i use marshall jcm 2000 which is also amazing
