Melody isn't always the problem. It's musicality that is nowhere to be found in metal.

Honestly, don't post here.

Melody is more important than techincal ability, but at the same time no-one will listen to a 5 minute epic with 1 note every 8 beats either. There isn't a single part of music thats important, it's meshing all the parts together to come up with something great.

Either way, melody will always win.
