I'd suggest 80BPM. Get that steady, then up to 96bpm, then 128bpm, and eventually 200bpm if speed is your thing! :D

bit random jumps xD

but yeh around there

personally, i start everything between 60 and 80bpm

once ive got the feel for it ill take it up to 100 to 120
then keep increasing by 10 or so until ive got it down
