Fingerless gloves are great, even the pros use them! I got a pair of them after the first time I played a poorly climate-controlled venue in New England.

If anyone talks shit about wearing them, they must justify it by playing better than this guy:

He has a ton of ESP guitars, a dozen or so LTDs, and a few standard/custom ones. He has all sorts of cool stuff, he had a few sets of EMG-x prototypes before they were released (one of them in the M-II custom), an 8 string, a baritone or two, and a lot of other sick gear. The list on Wikipedia doesn't have all of them, there's another guitars I see every time there's a new video of him!

I'm afraid this is the right answer. Man up, and accept the cold. Warm your fingers up before playing, and i SUPPOSE you could wear fingerless gloves, but the fact of the matter is it's only the cold, it won't kill you.#

Task for you - Go outside in your boxers at midnight and strum out the entire smoke on the water rhythm part, and do this everynight for 2 weeks. That'll man you up!

I don't think its a matter of being a man or a pussy, I don't think it gets very cold where u live or u might not play outdoors. But in my experience it sucks when ur fingers lose their strength and dexterity because of the cold. Its like being crippled, u tell ur fingers to move, you know they can move, but they just don't want to. Specially after an intermission.
