dude it took me like a month to learn to bend
it hurt my fingers, tore them but i can do it so easily now.
flick ur wrist.
make a v shape with ur index and thumb behind the next and flick ur wrist so u get a nice bend.
i would suggest hotel california since my teaher jumped me right to that solo on day 1 of guitar lessons.
took forever to learn, but it pays off.
so many bends in that solo hehe :)

I tend to not bend with my index as I feel it's pointless strain. However, my 3rd finger is where bending is at!

Lets say you are bending the high E at 15th fret.

3rd finger on 15th fret
1st and 2nd fingers on 13+14, and bend using all 3 fingers.

ALWAYS REMEMBER IT HAS TO BE IN TUNE!!! Alot of people bend strings, but not to fit the music. You gotta make sure you aren't bending flat or sharp

That video stole what I just said <_<

If you have the bending down then just be more precisely on what string you are hitting, by practicing.

If you don't know how to bend, use your third finger to bend with and the first and second to help you as it gives you some strength. Remember to only touch the strings when you bend do not have any fingers touching the strings and the guitar neck, because it won't sound good.
It's pretty straightforward once you have the technique down.
