advice. do not try to fix the frets yourself. they must be perfectly flat or your going to have buzzing problems. a "fret dress" shouldnt be that expensive, i had my mandolin refretted 3 years ago for like $300, ouch! it does play like a dream tho.

well i read ur short bio or w/e well if it aint broke dont fix it maybe mod it to ur taste possible sand job stain/paint

is it a heirloom/vintage if not i wouldnt bother unless ur into flashy ness the looks dont affect the sound it produces

but a str8 neck and decent pickups can do wonders for the majority of guitars anyways myself i dig the way it is

like my wife a little ruff around the edges and rode hard but still up for the task ....... good luck and especially if its

a no name guitar seek spending some money on a new one rather then pimpin ur geo metro 300 500 bucks decent playin guitar.
