I feel for you, because I got a cheaper E-drum kit and I really REALLY want an acoustic now.
You're so restricted on an e-drum because theres a lot of techniques you cannot incorporate without the use of a real acoustic. Sure there are some (HIGHER END, SUPER EXPENSIVE) e drum kits which you might be able to choke cymbals on, but its just not the same.
Hopefully you can find something good.
this.
I own a Yamaha DTXplorer been using it for 2years, ( hav been playin drums since 2004),
and the sound just doesnt feel rite sometimes o.O still lyk my kit, but liek i said jst doesnt feel ryt. kk
If you have an environment where the volume of sound wont matter, i recommend u get a Acoustic
I also would advise you when u get ur E-drums, make sure u at least have a lil jam on it before u buy if u can
and a get a kit that wud b all feelin gud for ya - some E-drums dont have that "touch feel"
jst doesnt seem rite, like ur hitting a practice pad or somfin;
well all E-drums wud feel lyk this, but
make sure u get what u wont regret buyin.
