If you have any decent amount of money to spend, you would be a fool to buy a valvestate. Look into some decent 40w tube combos, which will sound great at a relatively low price. There is no need to ever have a 100w tube amp, because you will never crank it, nor will you play at a high enough volume to get enough saturation to sound decent. Trust me on this one, I own a 120w peavey xxx which would bring my house to the ground if I cranked it, and I have to use a power attenuator to get a decent tone out of it.

I have a 37W fender atm, and that is not high enough to get a good sound over the drums

Hey lol'd cause you put "metal / death metal" and then put Lamb of God and Slipknot... Just ignore him he's just being a fag.

You could be the best musician in the world and play deathcore/metalcore and write the best music but
just cause you have "core" after metal in the genre you play people will laugh at you. I'll never get it.

Are you saying it's 37W because that's what it says by the power input? Because that means input wattage, not output. My 120w combo says 400w input. Your amp probably outputs 15 watts or less.

Also, I get the feeling that your fender amp is solid state. I'm talking about a pure tube (aka valve) amp, which puts out about twice as much sound as a solid state amp of the same wattage would.

Might be the inputW, I dno

I still think 50W is too low, I want something with about 80W +

I still think you vastly underestimate how loud a 40w tube amp can be. I promise it will be louder than you ever need it to be.
