I'm not dead set to any of these, i would just like to have a nice guitar to play metal with.

This wouldn't be my first guitar, right now i have a Ovation Roundback Legend guitar- Electric/Acoustic.

But if you could give me some ideas.

I was also thinking about a Epiphone Les Paul Standard.

Go for LTD, better imo.

haha so just get an ESP then, with a floyd rose....and locks at the neck or on the tuners. id still say get a shitty fender strat and put different pick ups at your local guitar shop.

just buy the cheapest guitar u can find off eebay, dont go for a brand new one or an overpriced pawn shop, and if u decide u dont like playin, then its not like u wasted alot of money, and if u do like playin then u can upgrade ur guitar acccording to the tastes u developed from playin
