We sure have great names in this thread so far.. I love how John buttler reaches such high energy levels in his trance-like improvisations, great guy. Tommy Emmanuel has such dexterity and ease on the acoustic.. he shreds it like a buttered up electric lol, great skills. Antoine Dufour is awesome.. his playing is so close to perfection, everytime. Very imaginative songwriter. Those spanish guitarists are impressive, as always. Okay, since i just figured out how to post vids, id like to post 3 songs by my favorite players, wich seem to be interconnected imo. These songs are not about complexity or velocity.. they are all about great musical expression. First is a song by the late Micheal Hedges called Because its there. Great song on the harp guitar with that new hammer on pull off technique (at the time). Very inspiring song..

Wow this is really nice, he makes such excellent use of the harp guitar -- never actually seen people maximizing the harp part so much. very cool.

Secondly, a song by the notorious Andy Mckee called The friend i never met.. wich is openly dedicated to Michael. I have to say this is one of my favorite by Andy, awesome emotionnal ride. Candyrat took the main vid out of youtube lately for some reason.. (my guess is that they plan on releasing the track since its such an outstanding performance..) but i found another one so here it is.

And last but not least, a song by Erik called Eon's Illusion. Erik states Hedges as one of his influences, wich can be easily recognized if some of his playing. Erik joined candyrat lately, hope it helps him spread his great music out there.. hope you enjoy these. ;)

He definately has some skills, epicly original performance. His playing style reminds me a bit of Eric Turnbull.. but his playback trick is original, a lot of possibilities there.

Edit: Okay, i have to edit this Lol.. i listenned to more off his stuff, and i have to say i am impressed. Great musicianship and talent, i'l have to look deeper into him ;). Thanks for posting this.
