Hehe didnt knew you had the vocals.. but, well... I listened to black metal etc before, but now I prefer other music

What I tried to say is the vocals were bad. In the way that it just sounded wrong. Might be crappy recording, but it sounded mostly like I hear other people say about metal Senceless screaming.
I see you have alot of potential, but you should learn to controll ur voice.

The vocalist isn't bad. His lows are good, highs are not so good. His lows actually sound kind of like a less aggresive Lord Worm.

Drumming was not so good imo. The guitarists could be good, but the stuff he is playing is weak. His technique is alright, but the material is weak, you know what I mean? Need to do some heavy editing to your writing, imo. A good guitarist knows how to combine rhythem riffs and lead riffs. His seem to be all lead, but they aren't too good, definitely need to work on that.

Unlike many JSP bands, I see potential in this one, and strongly urge you all to pursue some practice, you may have a shot at being a good band one day.

Personally, I thought my highs sounded good and lows, not so good.

Our drummer just hopped on a double bass kit for the first time in probably like a year on friday. (we recorded on saturday), I say give him some time. Idk, our guitarist really likes that song, Personally, we have some way better ones, But Seth really likes it. And yeah, with our rythym ittl be way better, can't wait to record this weekend.

All I can say is.
You need to not record with such a bad camera !
So far it sounds like most generic bullshit about these days.
If your makeing a band don't aim to be like another band aim to be better!

Also just to make you not feal like the only one in the band on jsp here's mine.
Its my bands first ever song + vid from last year.

I play the drums but this is back when I was first picking up how to play so basic ftw!

your high growls sound pretty bad I think you're trying to go a little too high.



personally I'd rewrite most of the song especially the part with the arpeggios, the melody is just lame/predictable.

Vocals suck, but thats just my taste.
Better recording needed tho, can't really hear the guitar. And the drums are kinda out of rhythm..
And whats with the band name? The Pixies are my favorite band
