slipknot used to be good but they got way overplayed both on the radio and just by alot of people in general, trivium has some great songs and dont seem nearly as overplayed as slipknot.

Was kidding about that, it's not even possible for everyone to be wrong.

But I was serious about this being in the wrong forum. If the bands weren't so bad I wouldn't mind so much.

I don't know how you've missed so much Trivium being played. Shogun hasn't had much airtime, but Ascendancy and The Crusade were played basically 8 times a day by most rock/ metal stations on the net and in the US

ive grown out of my slipknot phase, but i will admit, they are a decent show live.
i enjoy the energy of the crowd when they play, it makes for good pits.

trivium however, i HATE on cd and i HATE them even more live
they try to act like the absolute gods of metal, when their really just a bunch of egomaniacal dipshits that cant play for shit live

they had to start "pull harder on the strings of your martyr" over 3 times here because they kept fucking up too bad...
