My personal preference for metal would have to be ESP/LTD. They sound amazing through an Ibanez or Line 6 (imo). Then again, I just don't like the way Marshall amps sound. :P

there are very expensive line6 tube amps that are decent, and the only ibanez i can think of is the toneblaster. you must be playing some shitty marshalls to choose those amps over them.

No, I just prefer the crisper, punchier gain that I can't seem to get with any Marshall I've tried. Maybe it's the guitar/amp combo I used. Idk.

If you put a spider valve next to a marshall MG, then yes the line 6 would sound better. In any other scenario, Marshall is 100x better than line6.

buy the cheapest starter pack u can get, most likely ull quit within 6 months, but if u find urself still dedicated, then think about upgrading, depending on what kind of music u like playing

Picks, guitar cord, and guitar strap.

Price would depends on what you're looking to play (what kind of music).

I agree with this, guitar is a hard thing to grasp at first and you'll likely quit a few time's.
Buy a starter kit and if your still devoted enough then go full out with the equipment.
