i wish you guys realised that most of these death metal songs are drum machines on the studio recordings

Xanadu by Rush is the best suggestion so far imo anyway, only problem there neil really is using his whole kit often in this song so it'd be hard to emulate on my roland drums.

These 8 minute death metal songs at a constant 240 bpm really arent an option for me - not only do i want to keep the use of my limbs when im 60 yrs old but i want to be more of a "complete package" as a drummer and dont want to only sell myself as a death metal drummer, i already have a kinda death metal video uploaded... ok not as fast as the awesome vital remains drummer but when i say complete package i mean i want to offer all styles aswell as fast double bass and everything else... think martin lopez from Opeth (opeth cover being tabbed atm so dont name one)

also, i dont really like blastbeats that last more than 5-10 seconds (boring), double bass on the other hand - BRING IT! ... although i do like alot of songs which have mucho blasto all the way through

the main topic i really want suggestions for: COMEDY!! i wanna make people laugh aswell as be impress at teh skills

think of funny songs to play certain styles to etc..i have some in mind still keep all suggestions coming, but tbh i am looking for something different to what everyone else is doing

comedy is probably my favorite type of video to do, i like making people laugh at the same time as showing some skills.




nile are amazing, they were the first death metal band i fell in love with thanks to the "in their darkened shrines" album, but It would take me another 6 months of practicing only blast beats and double bass to get that as tight as i want my videos, and as i said - i would like to keep the use of my limbs when im older so just dont wish to play to death metal like this - I can do nile drumming easily, i mean it is pretty simple stuff and everyone knows going fast is just easy, but to be honest i cant be arsed to do that for like 8 minutes when most people wont even find it that impressive. for a part of a song is fine but not the whole thing!!
