use your tuner...

1st: high E
2nd: B
3rd: G
4th: D
5th: A
6th: low e

take it to a local store if you think your action/intonation might be off, if you've messed around with the guitar
Also you might have bad strings etc.

I think he doesn't have a tuner.

Go to youtube and search guitar standard tuning

ok you could either go buy an electric tuners, but dont be cheap ive had 3 cheap tuners, all of them really really suck and dont give me what i want,

or you could go to a site like howtotuneaguitar.org with an online tuner, and try to match the pitch, whats easiest is if you put it alot lower and try to match it by going up,

or if you know at least 1 of your strings are in tune, you can tune the rest to it, ie:
e| ------- = e| -------
b| ------- = b| -------
g| ------- = g| -------
d| ------- = d| -------
a| ------- = a| -0-----
e| -5----- = e| ------- fifth fret is the same as open on the next string, except for the g string, on the g string 4th is the same as the open b, not 5th
