Well, use the side of your finger to bar instead of the meat, if you aren't already, otherwise its stamina, you could try lowering the action if you don't want to adapt

I do use the side of my finger, guess its just me then -- alright thanks people, just needed to know if i needed to be doing something different or whatever. back to playing tongue.gif ;-)

one thing you can do to improve finger strength is to get on a pull-up bar and hang by just your fingers... start out just like 20 seconds then build up to like 30 secs, 45 sec, a minute.
i didnt read the posts just the title.

learn more chords and forget the bar chords, the voicing doesnt sound good on those chords anyways. unless your playing jazz type bar chords...

if you just want to play in "A" or "B" use a capo. cost $20 and is vocalists best friend.

terrible advice imo; and I think major chords sound the best barred.

no no no. never on acoustic the voicing is all wrong. tho if you are playing metal/rock then sure maybe its ok. this one might deserve a video response!

I was referring specifically to acoustics. I suppose it's all a matter of opinion, but I've never met anyone who thought that other than you :/
